Candidates must have:

• 12th Pass from a recognized board
• Any RCI-recognised Special Education qualification, such as:
  • D.Ed Special Education (2 Years)
  • DSE (1 Year)
  • DCBR + 6-Month Certificate
  • PGDCBR + 6-Month Certificate
  • MRW Diploma + 6-Month Certificate
  • Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf
  • Primary Level Teacher Training (Visual Impairment)
  • DVR-MR / DVTE-MR + 6-Month Certificate
  • DHLS + 6-Month Certificate
• RCI CRR Number – Mandatory
• JTET Level-1 qualification – Mandatory

Graduate Trained Special Education Teacher (Maths & Science – Class 6–8)

Required qualifications:

• Graduation in relevant subject
• Any RCI-approved qualification, such as:
  • B.Ed (Special Education)
  • B.Ed (General) + 1-Year Diploma in Special Education
  • B.Ed (General) + 2-Year Diploma in Special Education
  • PGPD / PGPCSE / PG Diploma (Special Education)
  • PG Diploma in Mental Retardation / Multiple Disability
  • PG Diploma in Locomotor Impairment / Cerebral Palsy
  • Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf
  • B.A / B.Ed in Visual Impairment
• RCI CRR Number – Mandatory
• JTET Level-2 (Class 6–8) – Mandatory

Graduate Trained Special Education Teacher (Social Science & Language – Class 6–8)

• Graduation in the relevant subject
• RCI-recognised Special Education qualification (as per notification)
